Dr. Klopfenstein is a native of Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Manhattan High School and Kansas State University, and received her professional degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1990. Dr. Klopfenstein is an active member of the Kansas Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor
As Optical Manager, Lindsey is responsible for helping patients meet their needs by helping them choose the best frames and lenses for their lifestyle. Lindsey graduated from Ultimate Medical Academy in 2013 with an Associate’s Degree in Health Sciences and joined the team at Insights in 2013.
She loves to see patients light up when they get their new glasses and experience the best vision they can have!
A native of Kansas, Sarah completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Industry at Kansas State University in 2009. She joined the team at Insights in July 2009 and has since become a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. Not only does she assist Dr. Klopfenstein with diagnostic testing, but she is also a contact lens technician and educates patients on contact lens care. She enjoys getting to know the patients and works to make their visit to Insights a pleasant experience.
Amy has been at Insights since 2007. She graduated from Kansas State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel and Textiles with a minor in Business. As Office Manager, she assists doctors and patients in all areas of the office. She is also your source of information regarding insurance benefits.
When you visit Insights Eyecare, Kathy will be at the front desk to greet you with a smile. She has been living in Manhattan since 1993 and joined the team in 2017. She enjoys interacting with patients, and her goal is to make all patients feel special.
Dr. Nagaraja was born and raised in Manhattan, KS. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Biology and minors in Leadership Studies and Women’s Studies. She received her professional degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Nagaraja then completed a residency program in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Nagaraja worked in private practice in Wichita, KS and Columbus, GA as she accompanied her military spouse around the country, but she’s excited to build a long-term home and practice here in her hometown.
